One of the juiciest burgers I have tasted, buns have a fluffy core and a nice toasty crust. Caramelized onions that made it taste even better. $11.50 for a double cheeseburger; don't let its size fool you. The flavour and the satisfaction (filling up stomach space and tastebuds) is worth the money.

I had it on an empty stomach and it was after am intense workout session. Filled me up.

Hmm I don't get the hype and wait time. This was only marginally better than hawker burgers. Maybe McDonald's standard. The patty, bun, cheese and pickle were so ordinary. There was caramelised onion but very little. The best component was the tater tots.

It’s really good, worth my trip to go down.
Feature the Classic beef cheese burger double patty ($11) and Hand Batter Fish burger double patty ($9.5).
The beef cheese burger, the soft bun served with juicy tender beef patty, slow caramelised onion and homemade sauce.
The hand batter fish burger, the soft bun served with fish patty( very crisp outside while inside juicy), cheese, homemade sauce.

Decent burger, small serving of fries. Good price point. Not bad but don’t think it’s worth queuing too long for!

Single Classic Beef Cheeseburger, which came with caramelised onions, chopped pickled jalapenos, homemade sauce, melted American cheese, and Australian grass-fed beef chuck patty between perfectly toasted buns.

After a 6 months "vacation" which saw them "dabble" in nasi ayam goreng, @hammees_sg is finally back, serving what they do best --- excellent handcrafted cheese burgers at affordable prices!

I was there after lunch hour on a weekday. This is not a place to go if you are in a rush because a so-called 15 to 20 minutes wait will invariably stretch to 30 minutes or more as each burger is made to order.

I am pleased to report that the young couple running the stall have managed to keep up their standards after their 6 months sojourn. In fact, I think they have improved on the blends for their burger patties.

Hammees has also introduced an upgraded battered fish burger. To be honest, it tastes like a better version of fillet-o-fish but the portion is kinda on the smaller side.

They have also upgraded their fried chicken burger with a thicker piece of fried chicken thigh which makes it even more juicier and it now comes in two variations: original or spicy (with roasted garlic and peppers). I personally recommend the later for a more punchy and flavourful kick.
