Overall ⭐️ 3/5 ⭐️
🍴Nestled within Serene Centre, decided to check out this cosy Korean themed restaurant. Haven’t had bingsu in awhile (is it me or are there very few places offering it nowadays) so was tempted by their huge array of Bingsu flavour choices from classic Korean Injeolmi to local chendol.

The mini version was perfect for one and provided much relief for the heat. Using a dedicated ice machine, the shaved ice was evenly fine with added creaminess from what we assume to be evaporated milk.

We preferred the matcha (3.5 ⭐️) for its generous dousing of matcha powder that provided a bitter contrast to the sweet ice and Azuki. The mango strawberry (2.5 ⭐️) had overly sweetened syrup and while the strawberries were fresh with a sweet-sour profile, mango pieces had more of a canned-mango taste profile.

Try their Gula Melaka, Horlicks ($9.90 / $17.80) or even Mao Shan Wang ($10.90 / $18.80) for something different!

It has been raining all morning and is just perfect for warm, comfy bowl of ramyeon.

I usually hate having ramyeon outside because you end up overpaying for instant food in a MSG-laden instant soup.

I will however make an exception for Han Bing Cafe's signature kimchi ramyeon. Their soup broth is made from scratch and is both intense and addictive. You can easily slurp up the entire bowl of soup without fear of a dry mouth / scratchy throat as no MSG is used and salt is used sparingly.

Han Bing Cafe is actually more famous for its bingsu. There is no fear of overeating because they serve both standard and mini portions. The bingsu is decent tbh and could use a little more
Injeolmi and soy bean powder.

This is worth a visit and needless to say, I have been back!
