Been planning to try this shop that serves good coffee and traditional peanut pancake, plus other traditional breakfast items. At 11am, the shop is still filled with breakfast customers.

Ordered coffee and one piece of traditional peanut pancake, not the crispy type. The pancakes were a little chewy from the fermented dough, ample ground peanuts sandwiched between the two slices of the wedge, and not too sweet which suits me fine.

Coffee was legit good with robust taste of roasted beans. It was most enjoyable to sip the bitter hot coffee (black without sugar) and interpose with slightly sweet mouthful of chewy dough.

Strongly recommend for light breakfast or brunch.

Found a little gem in Yu Hua!

Checked out Han n Han Peanut Pancake! They specialize in crispy meng jeng kueh here! They also serve other morning breakfast dishes items like toast, french toast and curry puff!

Here is what I ordered:
-Set A ($4.50): Comes with Coffee/Tea, Traditional Toast + Soft boiled Egg
-Curry Puff ($1.80): Super love the buttery crispy curry puff crust!
-Crispy Peanut Pancake ($1.20): Was surprised when this was served. It is the huge piece and super crispy kind!!
-Iced Honey Lemon ($2.70)

A nice place to bring your old folks here, we saw many older-aged group customers and family groups here! Seems to be v popular with the neighbourhood here!

Yes, this is 2 portions. So they give half what everywhere else gives

Kaya toast was pretty decent actl, filling was good unlike last time and toast was crispy

Peanut toast, despite having the same colour on the outside, was a lot less crispy and the filling is bad. Very dry, necessitating a sip after every bite. Not very seasoned either

What's funny is that the peanut mjk is actl not bad at all, not sure if it's the same filling

Crispy is made on the spot, basically just a thin layer of crisp, like the é”…ç›” which opened up everywhere a few years ago. It's not bad but ask for extra Kaya please(they don't give alot because theirs is v sweet)

Really misjudged the peanut butter, who knew the underseasoned peanut butter would go so well with their pancake? Just don't get it with French toast please. This was not bad at all

Skin was slightly crispy, try to get them as soon as they come out, instead of the flavours that obviously have been sitting for a while. The pancake itself has good texture, but it's different from the coconut one. Not sure if it's due to inconsistency but if it's made such that a different spread has a customised pancake texture that's damn impressive (unlikely tho)

Unfortunately it lacks kaya
