Quite a decent pancake but nothing too spectacular except appreciated the generosity of ingredients (sotong everywhereee). Was more on the eggy side than the typical doughy pancake and portion is a little small for the price (~1/3 a normal pancake?). Not totally worth even with the lunch deal but I guess ok to get if you’re craving? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Actually quite liked their version of the korean JJM! Unlike the usual thick bouncy noodles, the flat yet heavy silky white noodles were well cooked with the right amount of firmness and bounciness, and they held up that thick gooey black bean sauce so well!! 🤤🤤 Side dishes were pretty simple with kimchi and spinach (and unlikely refillable) with no drinks, but just a nice simple korean restaurant to have a quick lunch ☺️☺️

Had the promo lunch set - Soondubu chigae with pork. They advertised that their soondubu is made fresh daily, using good quality beans so i had to try it!

Verdict, the tofu is good! The entire dish is well done and I enjoyed the meal. I opted for the brown rice. Sadly, when I asked to refill the sides, the waitress said ‘$2’ 😔...

There must be something special with this tofu because how can tofu be so GOOooOoOd?? Of course the kimchi soup is the key but somehow the texture of the tofu just elevates it. Go for the lunch sets here, but don’t expect big portions.

This was supposed to be bulgogi with gravy. But the gravy was so watery that it resembled soup. Well seasoned thou. So good with rice. Gravy was a bit sweet. I was offered white rice or brown rice. I opted for the brown. I could choose either beef or chicken for this. My server recommended beef with no hesitation, and indeed it was delicious. Thinly sliced and tender. Not very fatty. Quite a generous portion of beef too. I liked the oyster mushrooms inside. Very chewy. Also got potato noodles. I slurped up very drop of this.

Pls note that their side dishes are not refillable. Most were on the bland side, except for kimchi and fish cake. Incidentally, those two were my favorites. The kimchi was cold and fresh, fabulously spicy and carried a sour tang that I enjoyed. So much so that I bought 1 kg of it home at $19.30. The fish cake dish was quite standard, and since I generally like fish cakes, I gave it a passing mark.
