Decor-wise, this casual air-conditioned eatery is done up to look like a rustic village. They serve local fare and simple Western items like basic breakfast sets and sandwiches.
Their "Han She Suai Kuih" (RM3.50) is much firmer than the famous Tiong Bahru one in Singapore but it isn't served steaming hot which is a pity. The radish topping is decent but my preference is for the finely chopped, garlicky style of Tiong Bahru's. As for the "Traditional Chee Cheong Fan" (RM3.50), I find the texture of its separated, unrolled ribbons quite silky and soft, so I'd say it's slightly above average. The wholemeal sandwich was surprisingly, the best of the lot, with fried egg, salty luncheon meat, sweet mayo, slices of cucumber and tomato all coming together in a balanced proportion.
Coffee here is disappointing in my humble opinion. But if you have to have your caffeine kick, opt for the one with milk at least. The "kopi-o" leaves a strong sour aftertaste.
