The fish was tender, succulent served in tasty, numbing and not too spicy soup based.
Will prefer if the fish debone.
💰$37.8.

One of the best renditions around and great sweet end to the meal. Flaky thin pastry sandwiching natural-tasting red bean filling.

Even though this is one of their signatures, it fell short of our expectations. I wished I could taste more of the seafood sweetness since the egg white kind of overpowered everything…
Nevertheless, I love their XLB, Fried Dumplings, Chive Egg Pancake & JJM!😋
Fav dish was the 拔丝芋头 bcos the taro was melt-in-your-mouth soft and fluffy. The caramel layer was too thick for certain pieces, it could have been a thinner, more uniform layer. The 辣子鸡,炸酱面 & 锅贴 was average. Expensive also
Specifically travelled here for their xiao long bao and fried dumplings with leek & shrimp but ended up having other favourite items 😂
Ordered the xiao long bao ($5.80 for 5pcs), fried dumplings with leek & shrimp($8.80), Beijing styled noodles with soybean pasta ($6.80), steamed chicken with chilli sauce and kelp side dish.
Xiao Long Bao was flavourful, and skin was relatively thin yet chewy. The fried dumplings with leek & shrimp had a layer of crisp to it and the skin was chewy too, but seemed overwhelming after having quite a few. Kelp side dish was good in balancing out the jelak-ness of the other dishes.
My favourite two were the Beijing styled noodles with soybean pasta and steamed chicken with chilli sauce. The noodle texture was chewy and really good while the chicken was cold and appetising.
Price point was really good too, will be back to try other items in their menu!
The dish we preferred most for our meal here though still average. The fried dumplings had a pretty juicy filling of pork and shrimps. The slightly crisp base was thin and not too greasy. I would have liked it fried a little bit longer for a better crunch.
