Hansik Korean Family Restaurant (Heartland Mall)

Quite disappointing. A good jjamppong can be so satisfying. Although Hansik is quite decent, this dish was quite amateur, like hawker level.

Ginseng chicken soup is one of the favourites here at hansik. Just read Google reviews and u will see alot of reviews on their ginseng chicken soup.

The soup was quite tasty and it wasn't very salty. My wife who usually loses her appetite when the food isn't nice, drank finish the soup, it was that good.

Just like in Korea, it is served with glutinous rice under the chicken. The chicken was so soft, it melted into the soup.

Read Many good reviews on hansik but never had the chance to come. Finally today have the chance as my wife finally relented to eat at a Korean bbq place.(girls with long hair will understand)

Decided to have the BBQ spicy chicken. The chicken was soft and tender, and tasted fresh. Served with chunks and chunks of chicken thigh cubes. The sauce wasn't very spicy and goes so very very well with the rice.

This cozy neighbourhood restaurant serves authentic Korean food. The pajeons are crispy and fragrant and the stews are comforting. They also serve banchan with free refills.

Arrived at the restaurant just before noon and already a short queue. Tried the Jjangmyeon and it does not disappoint. The noodles were Q and has a chewy texture. Portion can be bigger though.

Deciding to take a leap of faith, I skipped my regular stews & tried naengmyeon for the first time &🥺🥺 it has now become my favourite korean noodle dish.

Slurping the chewy noodles with the icy sweet & tangy beef bone broth🧊 was indeed a refreshing experience!
