A Vietnamese dessert of glutinous rice balls in rice wine. If you're Singaporean, you can't take this. I almost died. It's damn weird. It's like fermented lor.

A Vietnamese dessert similar to our local sesame ball, with also tau sar inside. The differences are it has solidified syrup on top and it's fried till crispy. Thumbs up!

A Vietnamese dessert of banana, sago and coconut. It can't go wrong. And it's eaten warm, an interesting sensation.

So bad. Thin, dry chicken cutlet with barely any cereal. For a gravy fanatic, I only accept cereal over wet dishes because it usually does a sufficient job in dressing dry rice. So little how to?

It's located next to the famous Fish and Chicks in the amk neighbourhood area. Noodle comes with grilled pork cutlet, pork ball and spring roll, well complemented with spring onion, peanut and fish sauce. The spring roll is savoury and crispy with a good amount of minced pork and shredded taro I guess. The lady will put lots of cucumber, lettuce, carrots, mint leaves, so remind her not to put so much if u cannot take too much green. Mix them up before eating.
Damage: only $5 which is an absolute steal as compared to that at Mrs Pho and Long Phung

From the Vietnamese Cuisine stall at Happy Hawkers coffeeshop located at Blk 531 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 (the same coffeeshop where Fish & Chicks is located. It's pretty decent if you are around the hood; chewy and springy rice vermicelli with smoky and savoury pork skewers. The pork chop was kinda mediocre and small in portion; a tad dry but still serviceable overall with mint leaves for a refreshing flavour and pork lard (not the deep-fried type) for a little bit of flavour. Chili here is surprisingly lethal; expect loads of sweating and even tearing β€” don't be too ambitious and pour in the chili like how I did; you have been warned!
