Aburi Salmon Chazuke - $19
·
Aburi Norwegian salmon chunks drizzled with yuzu mayo. Topped with ikura, dried sakura ebi, hanjuku egg, menma, watermelon radish, crispies, spring onions and nori. Could be more generous with the salmon chunks which is quite tender and tasty! Go slow with the broth if you don’t wanna eat rice soup

We had 2 bowls, the aburi Salmon and sake soy marinated beef, as well as the salmon tartar bo ssam ($6). The fish was much better than the beef!

Chawanmushi done with bonito kelp and pepper reduction, topped with chicken tender, shiitake mushroom, ikura, spring onions and seaweed. Egg was pretty smooth but it wasn’t as flavourful.

Was deciding between this and their other dessert - Lemon Jelly, Yuzu & Sakae Poached Pear ($6) but we were recommended this! It’s matcha milk pudding with black sesame crumble, macerated strawberries and shaved white chocolate. Didn’t expect much but we really enjoyed it! There was that bittersweet matcha notes we were hoping for, while the sweet and tangy strawberry juices went very well with it.

Poached Lobster Chazuke - $21
·
Air-flown Bamboo Lobster with gochujang dressing, hanjuku egg, menma, pickled cucumber, crispies, spring onions and nori. Very Japanese way of serving, munch on the lobster while digging in the rice under & pour in the dashi when ready. The only issue with the lobster is that you need to extract the meat out yourself which could make a mess like I did. Otherwise all is good. Potato by the side which is quite tasty actually

Presentation is nice. Soup is good. But adding mayonnaise to the aburi salmon then add soup seems weird
