Hay gelato is a tiny brick-and-mortar shop along Bedok North serving creative gelato by the folks behind Brine. The shop is simple and beautifully decorated with flowers. There is also limited seating space both indoors and outdoors but that does not deter anyone from takeaways.

What makes them different from others is the different toppings added to every scoop. I ordered their earl grey lavender topped with rice crisps and roasted pistachio topped with bits of nutty pistachio. The earl grey lavender is light in flavour with a refreshing and nice floral fragrance while the pistachio is stronger in flavour, not too sweet with lots of nutty business going on in there. I reckon I got the right combinations where both flavours kind of balance one another.

Hojicha was.. not G man. Tasted like ice mixed in grey coloured idk what. Waffles and roasted cacao were not bad but the hojicha rly ruined it :( mb just remove it as a flavour n all will be g

My friend described it as “tasted like u kinda boiled the teabag a lil then took it out in 14 seconds and then froze it”

Crispy yummy waffles. Love the lime ice cream cause I love sour things. BF likes the peanut ice cream.
Opens till 2am, hidden support spot. Small place with kind and nice staff.

All their icecream scoops come with toppings! This was a pretty rich chocolate icecream that went well with the cacao nibs.

A tad pricey at $5.20 for a single scoop BUT this was at least enjoyable. Very refreshing, not too sweet, and I liked their addition of candied ginger!

Really unique botanical flavors - strawberry balsamic and black sesame. Their waffles were just fine though, the ice cream on the other hand was quite unique!
