Herbal Bak Ku Teh Soba ($15)

Really appreciate how innovative the menu is however... Is healthy = plain ?

The aroma of the bowl of soba was decent however taste wise ... nah. The texture of buckwheat soba wasnt great too. The highlight was the tender meat only.

1-1 so about $7.50, actual price is $15 for one. Salmon is a little bit dry however overall taste is still ok. Didn’t have much choices for the Don and also the udon selection only able to choose those below $12 which is mostly udon/sobs without any meat.

The broth was light and not too salty! Really liked the yuzu flavor in the soup + yuzu bits on top of the soup. This is a filling and healthy (?) meal that isn’t too hard on the wallet. Would be back if I’m in the area!

Paid $6.50 with Burpple Beyond.

Super worth and filling lunch for only $6.50 after Burpple Beyond!! Rich and creamy broth with a hint of spice.

Would come back again and try other flavours

Ordered the Yuzu Miso Chicken Soba and it was very flavourful. Noodles were so smooth and nice to eat. Can really taste the yuzu in the soup. However, the broth is a little salty. It is usually priced at $13 and we got it under the Burpple Beyond one for one deal so it’s pretty worth it. Portion is enough too. It’s pretty easy to get a seat during the lunch crowd at CBD area.

Not on burpple one for one, only the $13 and less sobas were eligible. Honestly was disappointed with this bowl because the other reviews said it was very nice; however, the salmon was tough and lacked flavour and the soup was mediocre. The service staff was not very friendly either. The only thing that cheered me up is the Japanese (?) owner who was very cheerful and smiley. Maybe I came on a bad day. Come try for yourself. It’s decent if you’re looking for a simple soba after work, but nothing legendary.
