Interesting beers to try, had fun tasting these 6. Tuesdays have one for one Yakitori Grill items, more worth the price. Will try the mac n cheese n chilli fries next time!

Omg I love their beers and I can’t wait to go back again.

Many many choices to choose from, and all taste so good. I’m a stout person, so my go-to is always Guinness.

It’s slightly steep in price but really really worth it.

The opening of this award-winning craft brewery was met with much hype. Now I'd finally tried it, it had really great vibes.
My choice of poison, this Brutal Instinct Brut IPA ($15.50 for standard size) was an intriguing brew — first greeted by bright fruity notes, which elegantly faded into an endearing dryness, before sliding down my gullet with a long and dry finish.
Perhaps more for the dry beer fans, as the dryness lost some of it charm towards the end, but I still enjoyed it for the most part.

November 16/17 only… pop by Heart of Darkness on Tras St to try out this pairing of beers with cake specially curated by neighbouring patisserie Nesuto.

The pairings…
🍰🍺 Citrus Meringue Tart paired with Conquistador's Mexican Pilsner
🍰🍺 Coconut Pineapple Panna Cotta paired with Dream Alone Pale Ale
🍰🍺 Chocolate Cherry Pudding paired with Director's Cacao Nib Porter
🍰🍺 Tiramisu Coffee Tart Paired With Excited Magpie Dry Irish Stout

My favourite pairing would be the Tiramisu X Stout as I'm more a fan of stout vs. beer, plus I'm a caffeine addict, so the coffee notes just hit the spot.

The pudding and porter pairing is also delightfully creamy and chocolatey.

If you like your hoppy beers, you'd probably like the pale ale and panna cotta pairing.

And the pilsner paired with citrus tart is light and refreshing. Best to start with this and work your way though the heavier flavours. That way you'll also leave the best (stout X coffee tart) for last. 😄

Available from 11.00am–10.30pm, but get in earlier if you want to just sit back, chill and savour the flavours.

Hailing from Saigon, this craft beer taproom has opened its very first outpost on Tras Street. Think rock music, Vietnamese-inspired bar snacks and more than 20 crafts beers on tap! Recommended by Burppler Jason Wong is the hoppy and potent Kurtz Insane IPA ($17 per pint) as well as the light and refreshing Futile Purpose Cucumber Pilsner ($15 per pint). If you're feeling peckish, get their Cha Gio ($12) for Vietnamese pork and seafood deep fried spring rolls.

Saigon's Heart Of Darkness brewery has opened its first outpost outside of Vietnam in sunny Singapore, and may probably be my current favourite South-east Asian craft beer producers. Almost their entire line of more than 20 crafts beers are on tap at their Tras Street gastrobar, which serves surprisingly decent American bar food and a sick non-mainstream rock and metal playlist that's totally up my musical alley.

Must tries are the hoppy and potent Kurtz’s Insane IPA as well as the refreshing(in name as well as taste) Futile Purpose Cucumber Pilsner.
