📍Heybo (Marina Bay Link Mall)
- Tri-colour Quinoa🥣
- Grilled Lemongrass Chicken🍖
- Tomato Salad🍅
- Charred Broccoli🥦
- Grilled Mushroom🍄
- Avocado Edamame Dip🥑
- Seed Mix🌰
- Yuzu Soy🍋

Like the grilled lemongrass chicken, quite well done, not too tough, hint of lemongrass complemented well with the quinoa…

The charred broccoli was crunchy, it may be harder for some to bite, but I quite like it this way…

The yuzu soy was light and refreshing, adding on that savoury taste but makes one feel less guilty…

The rest were quite self-explanatory…

Overall, a healthy and satisfying meal!😋

Damage: $10.90

Love everything about this bowl, esp the dressing which pairs well with the rest of the items and give it that extra oomph factor

Yummy grain bowl, good serving size, plenty of chicken, fulfilling and satisfying. Love the sauce that goes really well with the rest of the food

That’s many places in CBD where you can get some healthy meal, including Heybo which also offering similar grain bowl.

Beside offering a few options on the menu that comes with everything you need, so you don’t need to think of what to get; or you could customise your bowl yourself

For $10.90, you can customise your own bowl to include base, protein, side and sauce. For a greener one you could get like mine which has garden greens, baked chilli dory, charred broccoli, cauliflower, onsen egg, avocado & edamame, seed mix and yuzu soy.

I enjoyed this grain bowl, with its different options for bases and proteins, the wide range of warm and cold sides, and interesting mandatory dips in addition to a sauce. There are options for every taste and preference. I particularly liked the addition of lentils to the cauliflower rice, all of the warm sides which were tender and well-cooked without being oily, and the tangy beetroot chipotle. The price I’ve stated here is before the 25% discount with Entertainer.

Base: cauliflower rice and lentils (+$1)
Protein: sous vide chicken breast
Sides: fried eggplants, roasted pumpkin, charred cauliflower
Garnish: furikake
Dip: beetroot chipotle
Sauce: pineapple tamarind

Picked the Kampong Table that had “mixed grains, grilled lemongrass chicken, crispy tempeh, onsen egg, oriental cabbage salad, lime wedge with sweet potato turmeric dip and green chutney”

Sounds like a lot, and it is. It was like they tried to pack a full table spread of dishes into one bowl. At $9.90, this was super yummy and worth. Will be back 😋
