Heybo (Republic Plaza)

my second time here. didn’t really enjoyed my first time maybe bcos i ordered the wrong ingredients. but this time round i chose the soba, chicken, avocado purée, corn, garlic sprinkle, onsen egg and some tofu.
everything was so good and i wiped it clean!!!

my really healthy lunch

i enjoyed the soba as the base with the lemongrass grilled chicken and the avocado purée the most. the pumpkin was not bad either. brussels sprouts were a bit hard.

and my only disappointment was that the egg was very over cooked. it’s supposed to be an onsen egg with an oozey yolk but looking at what was served.. the egg whites just disintegrated with a solid egg yolk

Like the grilled lemongrass chicken, quite well done, not too tough, hint of lemongrass complemented well with the quinoa…

The charred broccoli was crunchy, it may be harder for some to bite, but I quite like it this way…

The yuzu soy was light and refreshing, adding on that savoury taste but makes one feel less guilty…

The rest were quite self-explanatory…

Overall, a healthy and satisfying meal!😋

Yummy grain bowl, good serving size, plenty of chicken, fulfilling and satisfying. Love the sauce that goes really well with the rest of the food

Beside offering a few options on the menu that comes with everything you need, so you don’t need to think of what to get; or you could customise your bowl yourself

For $10.90, you can customise your own bowl to include base, protein, side and sauce. For a greener one you could get like mine which has garden greens, baked chilli dory, charred broccoli, cauliflower, onsen egg, avocado & edamame, seed mix and yuzu soy.
