HEYTEA (Clarke Quay)

37 Wishlisted
~$5/pax
In 2011, we created the first-ever Cheezo Tea on earth. As the years rolled on, we continued leading the way of tea by presenting new, delectable creations to our audiences. To inject new life into the traditional Chinese tea culture, we brought ingredients such as fresh fruits and brown sugar bobo into play, exploring more possibilities on the way. Then Tea Geek happened - HEYTEA's frontline concept of innovation. It's something beyond unique; it's an ideology, extending not only to the beverages itself, but also to everything surrounding it and interacting with it, socially, culturally, and culinarily. A designated team, armed with creation skills of the highest level, has an intrinsic part of producing hybrid cocktails made of fresh, signature brews and locally-sourced ingredients, all of which are held up by the pursuit of quality.

Different from taro Bobo, this is the milkshake instead of ice cubes. It had taro balls and smashed taro at the bottom. Personally I like Clarke Quay outlet because less crowd on weekdays. Queueing time is zero... I was the 1st in the queue when I stepped in at 7pm on Friday night and the 1 of the 5 customers in the massive store..... (For ppl who hate noisy crowd and the queue....)

🍓 I enjoy drinking this more than the duo bobo 😆

I love the milk taste but the bubble is a tad too chewy for my liking 😃

Can try if you are a huge fan of yam paste as I am, but frankly the sweetness overrode the yam flavour in this ice cream.

Wanted to try the Ovaltine Flavoured soft serve only to realise it was out :-( So I had the King Fone Cheese Soft Serve (~$2.80 , R) instead 🍦

Oolong taste was the first thing I tasted when I had a mouthful of ice cream, before that taste disappeared and I was left with the saltier cheese foam taste! 🧀☕️
.
Felt that both flavours were slightly mild which was probably what made the flavours go well together 😋 Cone was disappointing though bc it got soggy real quick 🙁 Ice cream melted really fast too!
.
Previously tried the Grapefuit Ice Blended drink which was apparently famous but I felt that it was too bitter for my palate :<

Was so so so disappointed when I received my ice cream- where is the swirl? Pretty sure the staff also realised it cos she kept looking into the cup and her colleague as if asking for help. My friend's taro soft serve got the nice swirl and pearls sitting nicely around it, so maybe it's the staff's skill? Ice cream was consistently icy, but on the bright side it had strong tea flavour with fragrant and soft boba. My friend's matcha cheezo was diluted with barely any matcha taste (she said it was much better the last time she had it). Caught them on a bad day? Not sure, but won't return anytime soon.
