Potatoes are my absolute favourites and these roasted garlic truffle potatoes just brought my appreciation for potatoes to a whole new level .

Well roasted without being greasy, each morsel of potato was well seasoned and when you occasionally bite into the crisped and chopped garlic infused with truffle oil - there is just this explosion of flavours.

Potatoes and truffle and garlic make the best team really ......

Served as part of a buffet accessible to patrons with every main dish order - this was very very very well executed .

It was not a planned visit to hifumi today but when I went to check out on their buffet spread (which accompanise all main courses ) , I was so attracted by the display of these sweet potato sticks .

Crispy on the outside and slightly chewy and soft from the caramelisation of the honey - this was way too delicious .

I hope hifumi puts this back on the menu for their buffet items because the buffet variety changes every month .

Tonkotsu ramen that comes with hard boiled egg and vegetables. This ramen is boiling hot but very salty at the end. Not a very good place for ramen however their semi-buffet concept is quite a good deal. Order any main course and be entitled to free flow of appetizers at their buffet counter.

Ordered the Salmon Cream Omurice ($15.99) and I really liked the salmon. The portion of salmon given is generous. Downside of it was the rice that was covered with the omu egg. The rice should be drenched with cream and mixed before serving or have a sauce to mixed with as it is kind of bland. Overall, it is still great with the amount paid.

Other than the entree, they had free flow of appetizers to enjoy while waiting for entree. The Tofu Donut and Chicken & Kinoko Nabe were the dishes that stand out from the rest.

Additional $2.99 if customers wish to enjoy their free flow of soft serve yoghurt and flavoured drinks but hot & cold water is free.

The pork cutlet is thickly sliced, crisply fried with bread crumbs and its lit😍😍
And the main part, BUFFET!!!!!
There’s pork rib broth, chawanmushi, baguette with tuna, ramen and many many more! The cheapest meal starts from $9.90++ and it very worth it!

Eat your way through this damping Monday by filling your stomach with the new June items at the appetizer buffet at Hifumi with any main course you order! 😆 Here I am trying to eat as healthy as I can at a semi-buffet, start with doubling my protein intake with this Salmon & Chicken Teppan with assorted vegetables. 😁
