Serving since January 1997, this stall is known for their unique rendition.
.
Their hand made fish balls and fish cake are irregular-shaped, tender and bouncy with mild sweet salty flavour. Bits of crisp lettuce lend a light vegetal sweet note.
.
Their signature kway teow is tossed in a rich sauce which includes pork lard and tomato ketchup, resulting in a lovely sweet sour savoury flavour.

Located in the same hawker centre as the famous Hill Street Fried Kway Teow, this stall was also awarded the Michelin Plate in 2019.

Ordered their $3.50 fishball noodles (dry) and was really impressed by their handmade fish balls that are tender yet bouncy with a good bite😬.

I can foresee myself eating this quite often if I stay in that area...

The chili that comes with the noodles is more raw spicy and sweetness compared to those with a savoury slant, and is pretty damn unique. Not my cup of tea though, which is why I recommend the soup version since the soup which was light and bursting with umami deserves noodles in it to be slurped up. Their fishballs were bouncy, super soft, and snapped really easily, not to mention the amount of flavour in them. Fish dumpling skin was expectedly bouncy as well, however could do with just a tad bit more filling. Without a doubt one of my top 3 fishballs noodles

The fish balls were soft, but firm, and had a lovely bite. They were also loaded with hints of sweetness.

This is one of my favorite fishball noodle stalls in Singapore. The noodle is springy, chili solid & full of kick, with of course the fresh & bouncy fishballs. #BurppleMajulahMakan
