Love the ambience and interior since this cafe considerably new. Although official opening hour starts at 1pm, we arrived there 12:45 pm and 1/3 cafe has already filled with customers. Mostly young adults patrons.

The burpple 1-for-1 doesn’t allowed you to top up add on to main dish. Basically it’s only steak & side salad. Which you might still get hungry unless you order something else.

The beef steak considered tender, however the whiskey doesn’t came through in the taste.

I ordered Butterscotch ice coffee, quite nice but too much ice and came in short glass.

I might come again to try out other mains. Just to unwind over the weekend.

2 Grilled Ribeye + 1 Butterscotch coffee =$36.30 (with Burpple beyond)

$26. Ok we regretted not booking in advance cause we had to wait quite a while but this was quite worth the wait! Juicy meat (which they cut for us), paired well w the sauce and the salt. Appreciated the side salad as well.

Used 1-for-1 and it was the best decision to order 2 of the whisky ribeye dishes haha. Pairs great with red wine 🍷

I’m not rly acquainted w the taste of whisky, but loved how tender and juicy the meat was. My friends loved the red wine reduction that went w the meat - they lapped it all up 😹

I will be back with my beef-lovin’ friends again!

Finally popped by Homeground Grill & Bar to try some of their mains as there is a one-for-one deal on Burpple Beyond. I’m not a big fan of deep fried food in general, but the Deep Fried Pork Chop ($17) is not bad. The deep fried pork chop is a refreshing departure from the usual grilled pork chop - the pork chop is moist and tender, and the buttermilk batter is quite delicious as well. A splash of lemon juice and house-made coleslaw help to keep the jelakness at bay.

Finally popped by Homeground Grill & Bar to try some of their mains as there is a one-for-one deal on Burpple Beyond. I’m not a big fan of deep fried food in general, but the Beer Battered Fish & Chips ($17) is not bad. The dory fish is fresh and moist, and the crispy beer batter is not too thick. The fries can be better though - they get soft and hard after awhile.

Finally popped by Homeground Grill & Bar to try some of their mains as there is a one-for-one deal on Burpple Beyond. The Charcoal Grilled Whiskey Ribeye ($26) is my favourite dish of the night - the ribeye steak is marinated in whiskey and fresh herbs and grilled till medium perfection. The meat is flavourful, juicy and tender, and the flavours are accentuated by a dash of sea salt and red wine sauce served on the side. The only downside is the portion, which can be a little small.
