This neighbourhood bakery shop was recommended to me by my colleague, while out on a grocery trip at Boon Lay Shopping Centre a few weeks back. Decided to return to try it out today. The shop serves up good old freshly baked pastries at a very reasonable price such as their Portuguese egg tart (warm and freshly out from the oven) that has a wobbly-soft egg custard filling with buttery, flaky outer layer. Their selection of cream cakes are done up with a traditional feel and brings a sense of nostalgia for the older customers [a.k.a. myself].
