How about skipping bubble tea for a day and try this healthy alternative at Honeymill? At Honeymill, there’s over 10 different concoctions, each with different character of its own, using various types of honey from Oceania, America or Europe.

Sweetness level is indicated for all drinks. We had the Manuka Mystic, of medium level of sweetness, with added basil seeds and aloe vera. One of the store’s favourite drinks, it also has lemon added for a refreshing citrusy touch.

Sparkling honey drinks made an interesting choice. We had the sparkling Goji Goji, made with garden honey from Europe and honey jelly, which was of a higher level of sweetness than the more well-known Manuka Honey. First sip of having a sparkling honey drink was intriguing, followed by the herbal element of wolfberries. Might not be something that you will fall in love with immediately, but a good choice if you are feeling adventurous.

At Honeymill, you also get to observe how your drink is made through automation with their in-store robot!

Yellow Box honey, honey jelly and aloe vera with a sparkling finish. Delish! The store lets u sample the honeys, and I went with Yellow Box as it had a clean, simple taste, rather than one of the more complex ones. Reminded me of honey from the honey bear squeeze bottles of childhood 🧸

It’s really cute how the machine prepares your drink. The staff are really friendly too.

Price is worth it with burpple. The shop uses robot to prepare your drinks for consistency and hygiene purposes. The shop owner’s daughter is knowledgable and will recommend drinks. It’s a healthy substitute for bubble tea.

On an afternoon frolick in town? Visit this beverage stand (with an automated brewing machine!) housed in Paragon for the perfect recharge. Pick from a range of healthful, raw manuka honey drinks, such as the refreshing Manuka Passion ($7.40), featuring citrusy passionfruit paired with sparkling water and manuka honey. Otherwise, the Iced Lavender Honey ($4.50) with honey jelly is another must-get.

Burpple 1 for 1.

Very friendly staff at the outlet who will also introduce the different kinds of honey they sell in tubs! Interesting varieties and some I’ve never tried before. I’ve also learnt new knowledge such as lychee honey (from Thailand) does not have a lychee flavour but it’s from the plant! So it doesn’t taste like lychee at all!

Some of them have really distinctive tastes that you will either like a lot or dislike.

Interesting place to get your 🍯 fix!

This drink was not as nice as Manuka Passion if I’d have to compare both. The honey is slightly more intense with a deeper taste. But I love aloe Vera so I chose this initially.
