Surprised that their roasted meat taste so better with noodles instead of rice.

The chilli is just right, not to spicy and not too sweet.

Roasted duck is just as good

Char siew damn gelat. Lots of Fats

They really live up to their name of being a Roast Meat Specialist ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคช

Arrived at a pretty early timing (~5pm ish) for dinner expecting little queue and plenty of roast meats available. Unfortunately only the char siew was available so you probably have to visit during lunch!!

Ordered the char siew noodles ($4.50) which came with some bok choy and chilli. The chilli was amazing with a kick to it! But more importantly, the char siew is amazing with the fatty components complimenting the meat. It was well-caramelised and juicy and made up for the fact that the siew yok/duck werent available. Thing to note is that the bowl is quite small - might not be able to fill those with big appetites!

All in all 9/10 for the value and quality. Would come here again!!! Really want to try their siew yok and roast duck too ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ

The char siew from @88hongkongroastmeatspecialist was mind blowing then, and is still mind blowing now! The char siew was sticky and sweet outside but incredibly tender and soft inside. One of the best around! The duck and roast pork were good as well, but nothing particularly special.

Roasted pork belly: perfect ratio of fat to meat, wonderfully crispy and light skin roasted to perfection! While not melt in your mouth, the meat was flavourful and juicy - 5/5

Char Siew: almost melt in your mouth char Siew thatโ€™s is sweet and savoury. Only gripe is that the meat is quite fatty - but I guess thatโ€™s where the tenderness comes from 4/5 ๐Ÿ˜…

Roast duck: love the roast duck! Tender and flavourful. The skin of the duck was very light and not fatty 5/5.

With a plate of rice + glistening sauce + chilli, a very satisfying meal ๐Ÿ˜

This rather well-known stall actually serves up one of the BEST crispy pork bellies weโ€™ve had in Singapore and lives up to the hype.

Honestly, with one singular bite, I was already sold. What sets it apart from others is that crunching sound when you bite into the crackling Sio Bak skin. The meat-fat ratio was just the way I liked it, slightly on the fattier rather than leaner side, giving it a more deliciously light feel.

Upon first glance, this plate already had me salivating over how the rice and meats were lathered with their gooey, sweet sauce and the glistening roasted pork belly skin. Iโ€™d recommend you ask for the fatter cut of their darker Char Siew, so as to get the ultimate GLUTTON experience.

Their sio bak > charsiew for me (although I seldom eat sio bak because I donโ€™t really like the fatty bits).

๐—ฆ๐—ถ๐—ผ ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ธ came with really crispy crackling and melt-in-your-mouth fats. Most were excellent while 1 piece had drier lean meat. ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜„ was nicely caramelised, charred outside (important!) with fatty and lean parts but there were a couple pieces with drier meat, otherwise it was good. Both were really flavourful on its own without needing the chilli.

Thin hk style egg noodles went really well with the meats.
