This comes w a whole drumstick too. Not v sticky at all, really thin and mild as well, not in a bad way.
Their soup is very light. Surprisingly with the dates and longans it's not sweet at all. Not bad as a side
Never did I expect this to work but it does. The meat loaf has a soft, interesting texture on its own but there's something in it that's almost floral in undertone. It pairs very well with the cubes of soft sweet pumpkin and they meld together
Also with longans. No wonder it's on Bib Gourmand - if HK herbal soups are usually good, this took it to another level. It's so complex I can't put my finger on what, but it's definitely herbal and intense. Apparently this dish helps the lungs and kidneys.
Also with snow fungus and red dates. Unfortunately I didn't notice the Brazil mushrooms. No wonder it's on Bib Gourmand - if HK herbal soups are usually good, this took it to another level. It's so complex I can't put my finger on what, but it's definitely refreshing. Apparently this dish lowers cholesterol and deters cancer and heart problems.
