As written on previous review, I managed to try it on Dong Po Pork ($2.50 per serving), Chap Chye (Cabbage) ($0.70), Pork Chop ($1) and Rice ($0.50). Dong Po Pork is one of best selling items which they cut into bigger pieces, tough and a bit hard to chew but Chap Chye (Cabbage) was easily soft and cut into smaller pieces. I decided to order Pork Chop again because I really like the crisp and classic taste of it.

Curry Rice ($3.20) consisted of Pork Chop ($1), Char Siew ($1), Bean Sprout ($0.70) and Rice ($0.50). Pork Chop is classic item which its not like salty aftertaste and quite crispy batter. Char Siew is another classic item which its a bit sweet aftertaste with red sauce gravy. I want to try it for Dong Po Pork and Cabbage for next time during dinner time.

Pork chop, char siew, cabbage. Stingy with curry, pork chop was dry and char siew looked better than tasted. I've had it better and I respected them.

Curry rice, $4.90. One of the few better curry rice in Singapore. The pork chop is a MUST ORDER because it’s coated with cream crackers before frying to golden brown. It’s very crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We also enjoyed their Prawn Fritters that has an old school nostalgic taste that’s finger licking good. The Hae Bee Hiam and Long beans were both tasty and irresistible! Topped with their signature curry sauce on the rice, everything just taste so good!! .

I tried the salmon mentaiko don today. The mentaiko sauce was very generous but the egg yolk was a little over done. Didn’t expect the tofu to be one big chunk though. Overall it was a well deserving meal. Not sure why the salad base is no Long available, but you can still opt for brown rice for a healthier choice. Yumz. #burpple #letsguide

Only $7.40 for this delicious comfort food.
Chosen fried batang sliced fish, soft eggplants, savoury long beans and nicely cut tender yet satisfying char siew.
Each mouthful is so yummy!
