Ordered the beef cheek and the pork rib.

The beef cheek is generally nice with the truffle mahsed potato. However, felt the beef cheek was salty.

For the pork ribs, the pork was cooked well but the sauce they put on it makes the pork salty. I feel that the sauce used doesn't compliment the pork ribs

a "talisman" made of marshmallow paper, which the server will "burn" it in front of u.

interesting concept.
interesting drink.

$18++ (happy hour)

🍟 Truffle Fries ($11++) (11/10)
Hands down. The BEST. TRUFFLE FRIES. IN THE WHOLE OF SG!!!!!! I cannot emphasise this enough. To all of my fellow truffle fries enthusiasts, RUN TO HOPSCOTCH NOW. Legit. The truffle taste is really strong and the fries are really crunchy, they stayed crunchy throughout our entire meal. There was also a side of truffle mayo, and the staff actually REFILLED it for us when we asked, FREE OF CHARGE. And for only $11++??? This was one of the cheapest truffle fries ive come by in sg, yet the BEST. Would return just for these fries!!!!

🍖 Black Port Lamb Shank w/ Miso Polenta ($28++) (7.3/10)
Im not a big lamb person so I wasn't suuuuper in love with this, but the meat was quite tender and it didnt have a very strong gamey taste. The miso polenta was a little odd imo. I dont find the dish to be worth $28.

🍝 Truffle Furikake Angel Hair Pasta ($23++) (7.5/10)
The truffle taste is negligible, could hardly taste it :( I did like the furikake, really unique addition to the dish. Other than that this tastes more like an Asian stir fried noodle dish than a pasta dish.

The price on the menu is $28, but they informed me on ordering that it’ll be $30 because the lamb was bigger than usual. The lamb is apparently cooked “tau yu” style with gula melaka, Chinese black bean, dark sauce and port. I couldn’t really taste the Chinese influences, and it didn’t matter because I enjoyed this. The lean parts of the lamb were tender, and the fatty parts were easily removed. Portion size was good. The polenta mash was rather salty, but other than that it was a tasty dish.
