So I spent my first night in Seoul at this underground pub, where you enter through a metal door at the side of the street alley where the only thing ensuring you're in the right place is a neon red logo of an old school hopscotch game.
The mocha stout held divine malty chocolate notes while the IPA was refreshingly fruity – a perfect way to end a exhausting day of travel.
Food wasn't too shabby either. Great with beer were the shroom fries [₩10,000] that were reminiscent of the amazing magic shrooms we had at Curious Palette; but better – julienned pieces of shiitake mushroom breaded and deep fried, served with malt garlic aioli. Perfection.
