Simple comfort food on a rainy afternoon. If u eat mala ไธญ่พฃ this is no kick for u, and personally felt the spiciness amped up this piping hot and generously sized bowl of stew on a rainy day. BB set came with melon ice cream too ๐Ÿ˜ will come back!

Located at International Plaza, @docosg sets themselves apart from the usual Donburi bowls by adding crispy fish sprinkles to their bowls. Lightly seasoned, the fish sprinkles was crisp and adds a nice crunch to the dish.

Get the best of all worlds with their ๐’๐ก-๐ฆ๐ž๐ ๐š ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข which comes with 3 choices of proteins along with 2 onsen eggs. For this bowl, I chose ๐™‚๐™–๐™ง๐™ก๐™ž๐™˜ ๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง ๐™Ž๐™๐™ง๐™ž๐™ข๐™ฅ, ๐™ˆ๐™ž๐™ญ๐™š๐™™ ๐™๐™ง๐™ช๐™›๐™›๐™ก๐™š ๐™ˆ๐™ช๐™จ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ค๐™ข and ๐™ƒ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฎ ๐™ˆ๐™ž๐™จ๐™ค ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™˜๐™ ๐™š๐™ฃ. As for ๐’๐ก-๐ง๐š๐œ๐ค ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข, it comes with a generous amount of ๐™‚๐™ง๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™™ ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™š๐™› and an onsen egg. If you canโ€™t decide which protein to go for, I highly recommend their Garlic Butter Shrimp as itโ€™s very fresh and crunchy! Otherwise, their tender and thinly sliced Grilled Beef was delectable as well. If youโ€™re not into meat, definitely go for their aromatic mixed truffle mushrooms.

If youโ€™d like to pair your rice bowl with a bowl of warm soup or stew, head over to @hororoksg located just beside @docosg ! @hororoksg has recently launched a new korean stew - ๐“๐Ž๐”-๐–๐‡๐Ž ๐’๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐›๐ฎ ๐‰๐ฃ๐ข๐ ๐š๐ž! Surprisingly, the stew goes very well with the rice bowl though I personally feel the stew could do with more flavor and ingredients.

As a no-frills and quick service small eatery, @docosg and @hororoksg are ideal for those who wish to grab a quick lunch in the CBD area.

A small joint who took our reservation at the high table instead of the bar counter. Liked the privacy and attention given. Thereโ€™s ice cream too. Enjoyed the simple stew, was tasty! During the short one hour there, there are customers coming in/out. Seemed popular although joint is small. Friendly service where chef is also the cashier and server.

Quite a quaint little place, and great on a cold rainy day. We had the gochujang stew and the bean paste stew, along with the rest of the things in the set. It wasnโ€™t too bad! The girl that served us was the chef, server, order-taker and cleaner, so kudos to her :) even though one part of the order was wrong but who cares, sheโ€™s trying her best, as we all are. Every ingredient was measured out carefully for the stews so you know youโ€™re getting consistent quality. Would come back at night when itโ€™s less crowded again!

P.S. The honeydew ice cream is fab.

Ordered army stew and beanpaste stew (one for one burpple beyond set). Set supposed to come with ice cream for $16.40 but they ran out of ice cream, rice, noodles so we paid that same price for the stews itself and drinks. Stew was supposed to be large size but was actually TINY. I normally eat very little but I left hungry. Even ingredients like tofu is very very little compared to most Korean places. Had to go get another dinner somewhere else later. Taste so-so. Not sure how food will be enough for men...?

HMM why is there only a picture of ice cream? what happened to the stew? HAHAH itโ€™s bc the food was soooo gddd that they entered our stomachs before we could take a pic :) we had the $16.40 nett burpple set with 2 stews, 2 bowls of rice, 2 canned drinks and 2 ice cream. the place & owner looked rather unassuming, leaving us without much expectations, but letโ€™s just say till today, we are wholly surprised we managed to finish every single drop of both stews :o we chose โ€œchili baeโ€ and โ€œog kimโ€ for our stews. โ€œog kimโ€ was like a standard kimchi broth, where the spice level & ingredients inside were all just right. the standout of the night however had to be โ€œchili baeโ€. it's a gochujang broth but in addition to the spice (which is not that much tbh), there was this special savoury-ness taste to it. coupled with the beef & mushroom, the stew was a unique, wholesome dish - idk how else to describe it, just try it for yourself! the staff were also really friendly and kind - i think we were served by a korean guy :)) the only downside is the limited seats available. iโ€™m sorry that this photo really doesn't do justice to the amazing experience we had, so just come down and give it a try!
