Muah Chee ($3.50)

got internal shock when muah chee's serving size got less compared to past year :"( but good thing that their standard didn't dropped down.

Love that they have sesame flavour here!
While the original peanut one is still the best, the variation is nice. The muah Chee was not too sticky and doesn’t feel jelat, I could eat the whole thing on my own! Had to go get a spoon to scoop up all the peanut and sesame!

Stall prepares two types of muah chee - one coated with peanut powder and another coated with black sesame flakes! You can choose to mix both like we did, and this is pretty affordable at $3.50! Muah chee serving was generous and it was soft and really chewy, compared to some others that we previously tried, which were of the firmer variety! We think the peanut muah chee was done better, and although the black sesame muah chee was certainly more unique, the taste of black sesame could have been stronger.

Very soft, tender and addictive traditional muah chee with grounded peanut or black sesame coating. The use of shallot oil definitely brings out the aroma. It is also not overly sweet unlike those where we get to see bits of sugar in the peanut coating.

Both the peanut and black sesame coating are good with the black sesame giving a nice and toasty flavour. It costs a bit more than others but I don’t mind paying more for the time, effort and hard work that goes into this soft and tender muah chee.

While some may prefer the more firm and chewier type of muah chee, I still prefer the traditional handmade type of muah chee that’s much softer and tender from hand stretching and pinching.

Very soft chewy texture and dusted with lots of addictive black sesame powder and peanuts. The stall owners are very strict on “no photography” at their stall. So, don’t try your luck to insta-story. .

There are three standard sizes, small ($2.50), medium ($3.50) and large ($5.50).
