House of Shrimp King

Paid using the fairprice app, idk if there's discount without the app.

Normally comes w pork ribs but they didn't have that today so it was changed to shrimp paste balls.

Kway teow was great, sticky and slippery with a bite. The sambal is intense enough, more heat than depth. Ask for more sambal, otherwise there's not enough depth to eat on its own

Angka prawns were of decent quality, it's butterflied too. But there's only 2 pieces, and one of which is a small one

Iberico pork belly was decent, there's a few slices. The prawn paste was mushy with prawn chunks, it's alright.

Soup was surprisingly thin compared to what you expect, not super porky or collageny. It's the salty savoury kind of prawn broth, and not bad.

Overall it's a premium bowl, tastes pretty good, but not worth the original price
