Absolutely fresh and authentic crisp pot stickers.

A hidden oasis and so very affordably priced - been visiting this homely eatery more than a decade ago .

I like how Crisp the pot stickers are and filled generously with chives and juicy meat .

Dunk in vinegar and savour ... ...

Loved the potstickers which were super crispy at the bottom. Love the Zha Jang Mian too it was rly yummy w the chewy noodles. The fried rice was just normal but pretty good, up to standard.

The noodles were super chewy and fresh, dumplings were really good too and the sauce it was coated in was super flavourful!!

💸: $10.80

💬: The well-marinated chop was slightly tough, but not dry, nothing a good set of teeth can't handle
Fried rice lacks wok hei but is very generously dusted with scrambled eggs and is very yummy, especially when paired with their housemade chilli oil

My favourite of the evening.

Meat dumplings encased in a thin skin atop QQ hand pulled noodles .

Then a magic concoction of browned crisp garlic , chilli oil and vinegar to bring the whole dish together .

Nothing short of excellent !

There’s just that added touch of care and sincerity in the food served here - just like you were dining at home .

Having said that - Just a place to eat and go - so don’t expect too much of an ambience 🤣.

My friends call me a contrarian 🤣.

Typically what the crowds Iike and where queues form - I shy away and for most times I disagree with the “ good praises “ that most give on xyz places.

While most flock to golden mile for what they deem as the best fried rice - the photos haven’t impressed me .

For those of you whom are looking for an indulgence without the heavy grease - I say go for Hua yi’s rendition .

Sad to give this best kept secret away - but good things must share right ?
