Remember to break the egg yolk and mixed the vermicelli well. The delicate and chunky Sri Lanka crabmeat was so sweet and subtle, amplifying the overall flavour of the soft vermicelli. A great comfort food that reminds you of home cooked meal!
Thank you #huangting for the hosted meal!

The flavourful soup remained piping hot in the hot stone, leading you to simple joy with every mouthful. It fully absorbed the sweetness of the chicken and shark cartilage, bursting with intense relish and alluring aroma.

Helmed by Chef Alex Chuh, who previously had stints in restaurants such as Hua Ting and Peach Garden, Huang Ting serves authentic Cantonese cuisine with a contemporary take.

One dish that got me addicted to would be the Crispy Chicken in Almond Flakes and Dried Chillies ($18). With a slight spicy kick, the crispy chicken bites are tossed in almond flakes and dried chillies in the wok before being transferred onto the plate. The aroma and wonderful pairing of the different elements make it a delectable dish that will make you go back for more. I myself couldn’t stop eating the leftover almonds even after all the chicken bites have been wiped clean.

This was a tasting hosted by Huang Ting Restaurant and many thanks to Affluence PR and @ksherena for the invite.

This dish caught me by surprise at how much I actually enjoyed it from the mixing of the raw egg to going back for a second helping. Stewed Crab Meat Vermicelli in Egg White Sauce ($28) might seem like any other day kinda dish but trust me, this is an absolutely legit dish. If only the restaurant is located somewhere in the Central or East.

Addictive!!! Crispy Chicken in Almond Flakes and Dried Chilli is a real bite sized delight! Lightly garlicky and buttery, the chicken pops itself are addictive enough. But when you dip it in the homemade chilli sauce.... Once you pop, you can't stop!
