The Lor mee was ok, the gravy was starchy and thick, light, served with yellow noodle, pork slices, egg and fried fish. The fish was big chunk, batter and deep fried so it’s very crispy.
I added more condiments such as vinegar, garlic and chilli to enhance the flavour.
💰$5.3 (large).

Crowned with an appetising ensemble of battered fish, pork slices, beansprouts and a braised egg, the yellow noodles were soaked in a thick, starchy gravy.

First of all, I stumbled across and tried their other outlet at 785E Woodlands Rise, Singapore 735785 inside a coffee shop. Seems newly opened too.

For someone like me who grew up eating Lor Mee, I am quite particular when it comes to Lor Mee especially after trying most of the famous and well-established ones around the island. So trust me when I say this is up there with the rest. Unlike most dishes, Lor Mee is particularly difficult to master because of the sheer combination of many ingredients, everything has to be done just right down to the noodles, sauce, egg, beansprouts, chili etc. Its a painstaking process and this stall executed it well.
The highlight of this stall is definitely the fried fish. Huge well-battered and fried to perfection, leaving you the dilemma of wanting to bite it for its crispness or soak it in the sauce for the burst of flavours. I tried both ways and both are extremely satisfying. They are very generous too, the big portion ($4.80) gives you 4 big pieces of fried fish. Even a fully grown up man would be satisfied. Surprisingly, the stall here doesn't have much queue during lunch time. For all the lucky residents living nearby, do drop by and give it a try. As you can see from my profile, I hardly give reviews on Burpple unless it's damn good 👍🏻

P.s. I'm not affiliated or sponsored btw, just an extremely satisfied customer.
