Iced Yuki ($5.30) was extremely smooth and thick as matcha taste was extremely evident.
They have changed their matcha cake ($8.80) from a slice to this house made version which is so much better. It’s not too sweet and has goo proportion of cream to cake. Right in the center, there are hojicha crumbs which balances out the taste.

Was amazed at how this came together. The tart was crumbly and went really well with the custard that wasn’t too sour which makes you want to have more.

Houjicha ice cream had a intense burnt flavour which complemented the light palate of the hokkaido milk ice cream well. Former had a chewy and creamy texture whereas the latter was disappointingly, icy occasionally. Both were $5.80 but the portion for the milk ice cream was slightly smaller. Iced matcha latte was da bomb. When drunk on it's own, the top matcha layer was very gao and nicely foamed. A beauty is born upon mixing with the silky milk layer and the volume was well worth the ~$5.

Would have liked to be transported back to ancient Japanese times and sip on nice tea while absorbing the good vibes from the pretty pottery around but bustling chatter from the crowd reminded me that I was sadly still in Singapore.

They used good grade matcha due to the colour as well as the intensity of matcha.
Yuki matcha though is the cheapest among the rest of the grade it tasted really well.
Matcha cake as usual was good and consistent.

The matcha ice cream was creamy and bitter in a good way. However the waffles was a total let down, dense and super sweet.

Was quite disappointed with their new Hojicha cake as the ratio of cream to cake was off. Too much cream and too little cake compared to their previous edition. Definitely prefer their previous slice cake more.
