Still serves the most springy noodles in SG. The various combos are all yummy - with delish char siew, roast pork or soup. Service is still extremely casual. On a recent visit, we were shocked that the bak chor mee landed on the table within 10 seconds of my ordering and paying (here, you prepay, and they don’t take C cards). It turned out it was an order by another table. Good thing we didn’t touch the bowl of noodles, preferring to wait for the other orders to come. Because a full 10 minutes afterwards, the service staff came back, took the bowl and brought it to the correct table.

My Noodles With Double Roast ($12.50): Springy egg noodles with a generous portion of both char siew and siew yoke! 🤤 I ordered mine with chili and it definitely took it to another level. Prices might be a turn off considering there is a Food Republic right at the basement of Shaw House, but it’s worth a try.
In short it tasted like maggie mee with drizzled truffle oil, honestly it’s hard to go wrong with the fragrance of truffle.
Comes with generous topping of well braised mushrooms and bak choy.
7/10 ($10.50)
I asked for less spicy and was glad i did. The noodles were so bouncy and the soup was really tasty.
