Love the aesthetics of this neighbourhood ice cream shop, with the carnival themed decor and ice cream character graphics. Cosy space for a sweet treat in the West.

The buttermilk waffles was served warm with a crisp exterior. The use of buttermilk made it more flavourful and moist, but on the denser and cake-y side. Enjoyable in smaller portions but a tad too heavy on the palette; wished it was more fluffy and airy (although this probably comes down to personal preference). Also would have preferred if the generous drizzle of maple was optional/ kept to the side, although glad that it wasn’t too sweet.

Was tough making a choice among the 28 flavours but went with the recommended hazelnut. The ice cream was thick, creamy, and somewhat stretchy. Had distinct nutty flavour but did feel that the big chocolate chunks overpowered the hazelnut at times.

Ordered the double scoop ice cream and waffle set which comes with a free scoop of ice cream. The waffles come in 4 different flavours - buttermilk, chocolate charcoal and red velvet. Really enjoyed it as it's fluffy and yet crispy on the outside. There are more than 20 ice cream flavours to choose from.

Food wise, I have tried cod fish, fried chicken and steak before. It's nothing to rave about. Just have your meals elsewhere and come here for the ice cream and waffles.

The interior is really nice. The food is decent and the price is really friendly. Did not managed to try the ice cream. The only downside is it’s not air-conditioned. Can get pretty warm.

Instead of just selling ice cream, they are now ventured into selling western food here also.

The waiting time could be very long for their food to be served. I’m not sure whether codfish is just not their signature item, but I really disappointed with the taste. The black pepper sauce doesn’t mix well with the fish. I could say they really need to do more improvement on it. $10.50

A pretty unique ice cream cafe experience with super cute interior. Loved the combination of warm waffles paired with the ice cream. Lots of interesting flavours that’s be sure to suit each individual’s taste, will definitely be back to try the others!

Ordered the 5 scoops of ice cream for $17.80. The difference between Ice-Cream Man and Friends compared to other ice-cream cafe like Udders is the price is universal for all flavours. They do not differentiate the premium flavours by its prices. Hope that there will be outlet in more centralised area.
