Absolutely stunning and multi-layered taste, bringing French toast desserts/brunches to a new sophistication. A busy joint that is serious about their coffee with an in-house roasters. flat white was a tad too acidic for my liking but overall wonderful experience. Check this place out before hitting the Rose St Artist Market.

Was roaming around Fitzroy with its artsy bitsy quirky arts, I stumbled onto this grunge hipster café. What I love the most is the setting, indoor, its very industrial, but outdoor, its garden-y!

These art piece of their Chef is delish, the wasabi sauce is fresh and tangy, the salmons and the crispy beans are yummy, slices of beetroot and greens are superb.

The WiFi didn’t work at all though.

Loved the natural bustle of this place and how I let my guard down only infront of my closets friends.
That's my Shanklish Cheese Omelette (with egg of course), though their Fried Creole Chicken Burger with Polenta Chips & Lime Aioli was a definite winner.

Served with cold drip coffee maple pearls, pure maple syrup, blueberry molasses & double whipped cream. I loooved the combination of popping coffee pearls and whipped cream!! It reminded me of coffee jelly I used to love on Japan (it tastes better than it sounds - trust me!). However, the awesome flavour of this coffee jelly was too subtle when you ate it with the brioche French toast unfortunately... The French toast itself was good though!! But I wouldn't mind if the coffee pears were bigger/had stronger flavour for it to come through when you actually ate it with the main component of the dish - French toast!

Poached eggs crumbed in panko, served with charred asparagus, raisins, capsicum curls & a parsnip and jeruselum artichoke purée. Again, the poached egg was done to perfection! The parsnip and artichoke purée must've been roasted or something because it had a slight smoky flavour which went really well with the sweet asparagus, raisin and capsicum! This was my second time having crumbed eggs though and I liked my first crumbed egg experience better at Lil' boy blue but I guess the dish was a little cold by the time I got to it so it's a little harsh to compare! Sorry!

A whole avocado with chevre, opal basil, micro mint, green tea sea salt and charred lemon. The poached eggs were done perfectly and the avocado mash was delicious! I particularly liked that you could control the amount of salt to your liking. But the best thing in this dish was the charred lemon! It added a slight smoky flavour to the dish! I really like my avocado mash lemony so I wish I had TWO charred lemons pieces though!!
