I used to visit Anson in Perak, Malaysia frequently when I’m still a teenager, as one of my relatives used to live there.

After so many years, I’m glad I still can find this familiar dish in Singapore; thanks to Anson Town.

This place could easily filled up all the seats on weekend morning, as people coming here to enjoy their breakfast with some local delights.

Among all the items on their menu, this Anson style chee cheong fun definitely stands out for its unique offering in Singapore, which you won’t find it easily elsewhere.

It is a dry version of chee cheong fun, stuffed with turnips, sprinkled with sesame seeds and spring onions. Served with a side of green chilli.

If you never been to Anson town, then you would definitely want to come here to try this authentic local style of chee cheong fun.

One of their Must try!
We really enjoyed the texture of the ccf mixed with the curry.
For chili lovers, remember to ask for more chili!!

Service : 4.5/5

Very different from the usual type in Singapore. Has crunchy and crispy bits inside. comes with green chilli. Less than $4. We rate this 8/10

it serves very unique Malaysian version of curry noodles, the dry version

The taste is a bit different because it has a stronger spicy taste which is not usual in Singapore. The dry version is moderately spicy but not messy compared to our usual laksa.

We suggest you order as beehoon mee instead of new alone as the beehoon soaked up the curry.

We rate this 8.5/10. This plate is around $7.

Supposedly Malaysian style. Not sure what's inside but it's decent.
