As we didn't manage to eat mantis shrimps the night before, we made sure it was the first thing we ordered. Fried with salted egg, the shrimps were crispy and full of flavour. Soo yummy - our craving satisfied!

😍 So sad we had to rush through this meal. Even sadder we didn't get the name of this place. 😭
It means we are reaching Ipoh, my hometown. Ipoh is under-rated and a poor cousin to popular Penang. The food here is good and cheap! A different variety to Penang - we have Ipoh hor fun, white coffee, curry noodles, bean sprout chicken, salt baked chicken just to name a few.
