I ordered this seasonal item partly because it's an interesting pork-chicken broth, but partly because it's cheap relative to the main menu, which for some reason looked pricey. You really taste both broths - chicken's usual yuckiness has been minimised, while pork wasn't as jelak. Chashu was flawless.

The weekday lunch set rly w worth esp if u have ramen cravings bc it comes w ramen (smaller size), a side and a drink. First of all the tonkatsu broth is rich n tasty af esp w the black garlic thing, and I like to add sesame seeds n chilli powder bc I’m extra ✌️Can choose firmness of noodles too n I always pick hard bc I like hard noodles. Got the chicken bun for my side and iced green tea for my drink ehh rly nth to complain for the price :-)

Our impression of pudding would usually be sweet, but Ippudo had this Japanese Shio Pudding (S$5.90) that also carried a balanced twist of savouriness. Although it might not be silky in every scoop, it was still able to melt in the mouth.

The portion might seem small, but it was actually a sufficient size for one. Any larger might just feel too much for a dessert like this.

Yokohama Iekei Ramen
Ippudo's signature tonkotsu & tori paitan broth, medium-thick noodles, pork loin & pork belly chashu, tamago, spinach, cabbage, menma, and nori, served with homemade spicy leek on the side

Forgot which ramen I ordered but the soup felt good on a rainy day. But felt a bit salty at the end. Fried chicken a bit oily but crispy and juicy.

Paying homage to the iconic shaker fries, IPPUDO has launched their own version named the Shaka Shaka Fries ($6.80) that lets you mix in the salted egg yolk powder into the bag of fries, give it a good shake before you enjoy this addictive snack. If you are looking out for some carbs, there’s the newly launched Teppan Rice that comes with crisp-fried ramen noodles, grilled wagyu beef ($13.80) or pork ($12.80) and a side of cheese lava sauce for you to pour in when served. There’s also the IPPUDO Spicy Chicken Wings ($8.80) and buns that contains salmon katsu ($4.50) or veggie patty ($4.50), served with three different sauces for you to choose from. And of course, you cannot not order their ramen when here, and my order of Shiromaru Motoaji hits all the right spots of a good bowl of comforting ramen noodles. To celebrate the opening of this new outlet, there’s a weekday lunch set promotion that runs till 14 October, in which you will get a ramen, side and drink for $15.90.
