Ordered this dry aged tonkatsu set ($18.90+) which the waitress recommended. The meat is tender, but chewy and had a strong meat taste that I didn’t enjoy. There were a couple of delicious fat-filled tips. The set came with soup (cream of corn?) and chocolate ice cream that was good too.

Would be happy to come again, but I think the cheaper lunch sets are more value-for-money.

It’s quite popular at lunch with large groups making reservations, and those who come later have to sit outside. Also a social enterprise (:

This was listed as “chicken katsu and mac and cheese” ($11.90+) under the lunch set, but we were told that it’d be fries instead. Not sure if it was just for yesterday, but the fries are crisp. Was a large portion that was value-for-money, and came with soup (cream of corn?) and dessert (chocolate ice cream)!

The Classic "Tiong Bahru" Ice-cream Stick ($5.90) is sheer proof that celebrity Iron Man Chef @chefheman is fully capable of elevating something so simple and given, with inspiration drawn from elements of his past to incorporate into his SIN-cuisine. Using an old-school ceramic mug (oh how I'd bring ice-cream like this home as a child and quickly put it in a cup so nothing goes to waste!), the ice-cream is drizzled in luscious and smooth mango puree cream which has a natural sweet mango taste that somehow just pairs so perfectly; that really is all this needs to change the entire flavour profile of the dessert while retaining every bit of nostalgia it gives. ❤️ IronSupperClub is located at Jalan Wangi, roughly 10 minutes from Potong Pasir station. Helmed by Chef Heman himself, you can expect to find a variety of hearty dishes that combine western cuisine with a Singaporean touch. Chef Heman also gives career opportunities to those with special needs by providing them with a platform to train and garner experience in the industry as a means of caring for and giving to the community.

I wasn’t expecting the crustacean taste to be that intense in a positive way. The spaghetti was al dente with Soft Shell Crab drizzled with Singapore Chilli Crab Sauce, a signature in-house sauce with a hint of garlic.

Dry Aged Pork coated with Japanese style batter that was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was served with Asian Salad, Asian Ma-La Sauce, Scallion Dressing, Cilantro Chili Sauce as well as Garlic Crisps.
