This tastes just as good as it looks!! 😍😍 Highlight of the dish has got to be the thiccc juicy strip of pork with such a succulent layer of fat - really so so good omg. Along with 2 substantial stacks of tonkatsu pork, this dish was actually really filling for 2 pax! (Good for 2-3 pax imo!) Came with 4 different sauces - house made brown sauce, chili sauce and scallion sauce, with tartar sauce too for the tonkatsu pork! Fantastic service with attentive servers who patiently explained components of the dish and restaurant was homely - perfect for families! Sides of vegetable and potato wedges were pretty average, but the meat was definitely the star of the show. Esp with eatigo’s 50%, definitely do give this a try 👍🏻👍🏻

They have very interesting craft beers going for $9. We tried the mango and white peaches beer (rabbits image). The mango beer was sweet and the white peaches beer had a strong sour after taste. Prefers the mango one (tall one at the back). Both were light.

Besides their pasta, all their mains falls on the expensive side. Given how secluded it is, I will only come back when someone drives. This is also not the kind of place that you would crave for the food and come back to.

Mentaiko pasta were okay, nothing very memorable but well done. The pasta was al dente and ingredients were generous. The Mentaiko sauce was flavourful but not too rich nor creamy.

This place is super ulu / secluded. Only viable of you drive.

Hidden in Macpherson/Potong Pasir Estate is Iron Supper Club. We walked 10 mins from Potong Pasir MRT and decided to cab out instead.

The Tomahawk pork dish is $89, good for 4 to share. The Pork Katsu has very light and airy exterior crust, soft tender meat and goes well with the sauce. The Grilled version on the other hand is not bad but I prefer the deep fried version. Grilled version was a little tougher.

Very expensive. Maybe only worth it with chope or eatigo discounts.

Look to this eatery in Potong Pasir for dishes that are rich in protein but low in carbs. Have their Fried Norwegian Salmon ($26.90) slathered in hollandaise sauce and served with seasonal veggies and a dollop of mashed potatoes. In need of something heartier? Order the Wagyu MBS 4/5 Ribeye Steak ($28.90) that you can douse in either a demi glaze or black pepper sauce — yum!

Ordered this dry aged tonkatsu set ($18.90+) which the waitress recommended. The meat is tender, but chewy and had a strong meat taste that I didn’t enjoy. There were a couple of delicious fat-filled tips. The set came with soup (cream of corn?) and chocolate ice cream that was good too.

Would be happy to come again, but I think the cheaper lunch sets are more value-for-money.
