- 'Pork mixed in with our very own mix of spices and specially slow roasted over charcoal'
- Love the spices that were stuffed into the pork, strong garlic flavour and right amount of chilies
- The meat was very flavourful but slightly saltish, will probably pair well with the rice
- Skin was very thick and crunchy with a thick layer of fat beneath; A very fatty cut of meat
Overall, tastes very sinful but very delicious

The Belly Lechon meal comes with a small portion of rice, lechon meat and most importantly the crackling roasted pork skin. Price is $10 for a meal.
Advice: come early before 5pm if you want the belly lechon. It’s quickly sold out everyday

If you do not know what’s a lechon, it’s essentially an entire roasted suckling pig and then chop up into small pieces. This Sizzling Lechon ($13) brought it up a notch further with the addition of an egg that you can mix in with the lechon. They also provide with a ball of lime that you can squeeze in to cut through the richness for a more balanced flavour.

Collaboration between chef-owner Christian Calledo and Bjorn Shen for Singapore Food Fest's Open Stoves. Really enjoyable but rather small.

I have not, till Iskina Cebu @ Timbre+! For this Double Sampler ($12) which includes the Lechon Cebu (Pig Belly) and Liempo (Grilled Belly) which I reckon it's something like the roasted pork in SG.

The meat is well seasoned and the Liempo was so crispy! Definitely a good first impression on Filipino food!😋

Double platters @ $11 each without rice
Left: Lechon (roasted suckling pig) & Inasal Manok (BBQ chicken)
Right: Spicy Lechon & Liempo (pork belly)

Yes they were good - pork is fatty with a crispy skin and the chicken is tender - but I can also get the same thing, perhaps an even better quality, at 1/3 of the price from a roasted delights stall in a hawker centre or coffee shop. The entire dish got boring after a while as there was no accompanying sauce to bind and moisten the meats and rice, hence it's dry and doesn't pack a punch of flavours. And too overpriced.

But if I were to choose, the spicy Lechon was the best among the 4 because... of the spice hahaha
