Onion rings & parmesan asparagus 》$18.50

I like how this place would ask how I would like my salmon steak to be done where most places wouldn't ask and it ends up well done with dryness. I requested to have mine cooked to medium rare and it came out perfect - juicy, succulent and melts in your mouth. Served with fresh lemon and dill herb cream sauce.

The salmon is relatively cooked outside but still juicy and moist inside. It has a perfectly rendered crispy skin with a thin layer of flaky meat underneath, followed by a wide expanse of tender juicy flesh and a central core with a little translucency that looks like sashimi.

Each grill item comes with 2 complements which you can get to choose from country baked beans, onion rings, buttered corn kernel, cream broccoli, baked olive rice, baked potato, fries, mac & cheese, mashed potato, apple & nut salad  cream spinach, cinnamon pumpkin  sautéed Brussels  cauliflower cheese, coleslaw salad, spinach & sesame salad, chopped green salad, crunchy potato salad, parmesan asparagus or garlic butter eggplant.

Fragrant and tasty seafood aglio with mussels, prawns and squid. Value for money for the ingredients and portion served 》$12

Their entire system is needlessly complicated. From the ordering to how they charge(it's not exactly ++, but it's damn confusing)

NZ Ribeye fared much better, not that that's saying much. How is the aus one more expensive?? Anyway this was decent, by no means excellent but at least it's good enough to be called a steak. The asparagus was barely passable but the cheesy cream spinach was not bad.

Both sauces were weird. Too sweet and texture was off as well.

If you must come here, probably get the NZ pasture ribeye, tho there's no need to force yourself to order enough to qualify for steakhouse char because there's no steakhouse char going on at all

Came for the steakhouse char. Was disappointed, esp seeing how this wasn't cheap at all. Crust was worse than what I could do with a pan-fry at home.

Ribeye was very tough and chewy, only the cap was passable. Don't come in expecting proper steakhouse standard. It's more like Swenson's, which was something I only understood when I saw the crowd

Cinnamon pumpkin was okay... Mainly sweet, wished for it to have more character. Garlic cheese? Eggplant was pretty damn tasteless

PS this isn't rlly inedible per se, but it's definitely not going into my steakhouse list

I ordered the Steak New Zealand Stirloin Steak ($18) with the sides of Parmesan Aspergaus & Mash Potato.

I'm surprised they offered Aspergaus as one of side dish choices as it is well know that Aspergaus is the most expensive vegetable. The mashed potato even without the sauce, is great by itself. For the steak, is it quite thick cut and I enjoyed it.

My first experience in iSTEAKS is great and I will definitely try patronise iSTEAKS if I happened to pass by their shop.

With Parmesan asparagus and fries. Eat steak at iSteaks. We picked ribeye because wanna eat don't eat cheap. Fairly good, except the chewiness, which is expected of ribeye. Medium rare also executed perfectly. Just drop the sauce please, it's insulting for a steakhouse. And who wouldn't select asparagus, it's expensive!
