Place was pretty filled even on a monday noon! Food was a little pricy but of great quality. Enjoyed the burrata and pasta especially, book before coming down!

Price 💰: $22 for the prawn tagliolini and $19 for the burrata with parma ham
Food 🍴: The tagliolini was cooked al dente to perfection! The sauce was unique and a generous portion of delicious albeit small prawns was given. This was amazingggg but not the best I’ve tasted tbh. It does taste very authentically Italian and is definitely one of the more memorable pasta I’ve tasted nonetheless (huge pasta fan here 🙋🏻‍♀️). I tried burrata for the first time here and I love it!!! The cheese was bland but it goes so well with the saltiness of the parma ham.
Ambience ✨: I must say I really loved the ambience of this restaurant. Upon stepping in you’d see wooden shelves stacked with an assortment of pastas, jams, wines etc sourced from Italy which added to the authenticity of restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was spacious yet cozy at the same time. Went there on a thursday afternoon but it was already quite busy given the popularity of this place!
Verdict 🙇🏻‍♀️: Absolutely LOVED my experience at this restaurant. Will definitely come back to try all the other dishes!!!

Pistachio Tiramisu: $10.00
ladyfingers biscuit, mascarpone cheese, a hint of coffee, chopped pistachios

this pistachio tiramisu did not look anything special BUT this is a life changer - if you are going to dine at iO Italian Osteria, you can skip other food and go straight for their pistachio tiramisu. tiramisu cake was soft and fluffy, good layer of mascarpone cream, a thing layer of pistachio paste between the cake and the cream which helped to bring out the flavour of the chopped pistachios toppings. it was absolutely gorgeous 💕😍 easily one of the best tiramisu in SG

Traditional Stuffed Roman Schiacciata [small] : $10.00
crispy flat bread with truffle mushroom cream stuffing

although the bread was good, I personally would have preferred it to be a little crispier. well-balanced truffle mushroom sauce but a little bit lacking in the filling. it was a good started - not a life changer.

We loved the food at iO Italian Osteria and will definitely be back. I would recommend the porchetta and the stuffed roman schiacciata! Very unique and delicious. I would give the saffron pizza a miss the next time. Another point to note is that although the service staff were polite, the way that they attempted to our plates even before we were done eating at times was just rude. I understand that the restaurant is overbooked and that they wish to improve their turnover rates but this is not the way to do it... The whole meal felt so rushed and not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Instead of the usual round pizza, they use bread as the base and love the truffle mushroom flavour in it! Burrata w parama ham was nice and the pistachio tiramisu is something u can't find elsewhere. Yummy!!
