Ft. Homemade Taglioni with Prawn [$22]

This was not as impactful as the porchetta and we felt the portion could be bigger for its price!

The beef was really tender, and the usage of the beer gave depth to the sauce. However, I feel that this was rather average.

Price: $24

The pasta was cooked al dente and coated with a very unique sauce!! It’s tomato base with a slight hint of spice. I personally feel that the serving is quite small as compared to other pasta places. However, they did give a lot of prawns, which made up for the lack of pasta.

Price: $22, ps almost every table ordered this 😬

Boy is the saffron strong in this one. The little ear-shaped pasta first shocked me with its al-dente texture but I began to realised how it balanced out the heady spices and cream in the thick sauce.

Actually not sure if I'd order this again after finding out the price tag but my family members seemed to enjoy this a lot. I'm not a big fan of seafood but I still found myself dipping bread into the sauce for that musky flavour.

Personally, I only find octopus enticing for its firm texture -- it has to be seasoned with some piquant sauce to make it really stand out. I'll give this a 7 because the octopus was certainly cooked to perfection but the 'Mediterranean sauce' it came with really fell flat.
