iO Italian Osteria is an Italian restaurant in HillV2 that offers delish Italian dishes. It is a little pricey but the amazing food makes it all worthwhile.

I only like thin crust pizzas so this is really the first thick crust pizza that I love!

Really good place for sharing starters, especially their cold cuts board and assorted roman pizzas :-) The burrata is also really fresh and the porchetta is a crowd-pleaser!

Stuffed Roman Schiacciata with cream cheese , truffle oil and mushroom (I think? - I didn’t taste any mushroom though and didn’t see any). I was expecting so much more from the rave reviews. It tasted like cream cheese + cheese + truffle oil sauce between flatbread.

There was not enough filling for me. It was even rather dry in parts with not much sauce. The bread was good though. The dish tasted good enough I guess but didn’t wow.

Prochetta, Baked Pork Belly, Wild Fennel. Enjoyed the crackling pork skin the most along with the fatty bits. The meat in the middle, however, was quite dry and I didn’t finish it.

Enjoyed the pork more than the Schiacciata (and I am a bread lover! Should I give this another chance?)

This truffle mushroom stuffed pizza is so so good! Love everything about it! Do give it a try if you are around the corner.

1. Finally tried @ioosteriasg after wanting to visit for the longest time. Assorted pizza (medium) [$24++], from left to right: Garlic and chilli, pepperoni, zucchini and bacon, margherita.
2. I wish the servers had told us how much more the gluten-free pasta would cost ($8++ if you need to know) and how big the small/medium/large pizzas were.. I asked about the latter and the waitress just said the small is one pizza cut into four 😂 Not very helpful honestly, she could have told us the portion size or that we could see how big the pizzas were based on the display at the front. The medium size is for sharing (among maybe three or more people), please don’t order it for one person to eat, it’s way too much. I learnt it the hard way 😂
3. The restaurant is very pretty with lots of natural light.
