They has been here since 2000, a place for some home-style country cooking.

One of their popular and signature item on the menu would be this oxtail stew. Comes in quite a big plate of portion with few pieces of oxtails, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and onion.

The dish is served with a choice of rice or baguette, you also can top up for spaghetti. If you come during lunch time, it also comes with a complimentary soft drink.

The stew was super creamy and delicious, but not too overwhelming of the taste. Oxtail was juicy.

Only available for dinner! Had their Carbonara too and it was not bad but abit dry :-( Pork knucles were pretty good! The skin was really thick and crisp till perfection 😻 Generous portion and meat was really tender!

Wasn't as crackling as I'd like but the pork was tender and tasty. Mashed potato was not overly buttery and texture was just right! Overall not exceptionally mindblowing but pretty satisfying. This is definitely a place to go for homely, comfort food. Will be back to try their signature pork knuckles.

Love the super crispy skin of this pork knuckle! It's so crispy you can hear the crackling sound as you bite into it. The meat is kind of average and a little bland but paired with their chili sauce (taste like chicken rice's chilli) and mustard, it becomes pretty nice.
This is pretty big, good for 2-3 to share.

A very nice thick crust pizza with yummy smoked chicken, bacon, mango slices and olives. I usually prefer thin crust pizza as they are crispier while my husband prefers the thicker ones because of the meatier texture. This one marries the two to give a meaty pizza that's crispy at the crust. Love! ❤️

The egomaniac in me always thinks I know the best (or at least better) makan spots, and the boyfriend usually agrees and defers to my opinion. I'm always a little skeptical on the rare occasion he suggests a dining spot less heard off; but more often than not I'm happily proved wrong.

Jacob's been one of our favourites since he first took me. Stunning hearty European fare: from stews, sausages, to the best pork knuckle I've had both in and out of Singapore. It's comfort food at it's best, and even better cause not many've heard of it! It's THE place to go when we're not having the best of days, when I don't really wanna use my brains, or when we want some time to ourselves. Good stuffs are meant to be shared so here goes; but fingers crossed it'll still be as homely, as personal, many years down the road. #EatBurpLove
