Finally got the chance to try out this dim sum spot that’s not only popular with the locals but also attracts a fair share of Singaporeans. We arrived around 7:20 AM, just 20 minutes after opening, cause to avoid the crowd, you know one lah. Though we were early, some of the dim sum items were still being prepared. As we ate, the place gradually filled up, and by the time we left, a small crowd had gathered. So, if you prefer a quieter breakfast experience, I’d say arriving early is peaceful, though some dim sum might not be ready yet.

There are three sections to queue from: steamed buns, steamed dim sum, and deep-fried items. Each has its own snaking queue, and you simply hand them your table number. They’ve modernised the ordering system with tablets, moving away from the traditional pen and paper.

As with any great Korean meal, we were treated to free-flow banchan, including garden salad, marinated mushrooms, and cucumber pickled in kimchi sauce. These sides added a nice balance to the rich main dishes, ensuring we left with full bellies.
