This was a decent army stew. I wasnโ€™t a fan on the taste of the stew initially because it didnโ€™t taste as spicy or sour as desired, but it did grow on me after a few refills and further simmering. A good portion of ingredients and straightforward and easy to eat, not much of a mess made either unlike ala carte steamboat. Comforting on a cold day!

Small and cosy korean restaurant located right at Tamp 1 entrance. Tried the army stew on a rainy night and it did not disappoint. Portion size is also generous and sufficient to feed 2 pax. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

The kimchi stew was served hot and bubbling, and together with rice it went great! With Kimchi, enoki mushrooms, beancurd and pork chunks, the portion of this dish was just right. The stew was more to the sour side, and with a very distinct kimchi taste. It was not too spicy, although I wished it could be spicier, or with the option to make it spicy/non-spicy like their ramyeon. I also expected the pork to be in slices, and being in chunks made it slightly more difficult to eat and chew, as it was a little hard. Nonetheless, I liked the flavour of the soup and the dish was generally up to expectations, but having to top up $2 for a bowl rice makes it overall a little pricey.

There was a spicy and non spicy option for this. Got the spicy option for this, and the spiciness of this soup really packed a punch! The noodles of the ramyeon seem like the normal kind you can find in Ramen packets. And while it might not seem that worth it, the portion of seafood was not bad and seemed of quite good quality. The prawn and octopus were big, and there were a few clams inside. Topped off with an egg too!

Settled for takeaway though would have wished for it served bubbling hot. The stew had a variety of seafood including a huge prawn that was fresh and sweet. Broth was light and could be much richer in flavour. And sadly, the soy garlic chicken wings ($8.50) tasted average and not worth the price.
