Pink in color. Can taste the fruit but kind of too sweet.

Ji Xiang Confectionery

so I decided to try it out since it's quite out of way for me to buy ang ku kuek

Peanut - didn't much strong taste for peanut but really normal taste.

Corn - felt that it's quite coarse filling for corn bits and not really that fine filling.

Coconut - didn't much strong taste for coconut but really normal taste.

The Premium Traditional Signatures’ Platter ($59) comes with an assortment of ang ku kuehs to old-school fresh cream cakes and savoury orh kueh. This assorted box is great for sharing and to relish the childhood memories of these snacks from the various food brands. You can also key in the promo code JULIUSLIM5 to enjoy $5 off when you purchase a minimum order of $50.

I have been having this since I was a child! I used to live in tanjong pagar and my mom would buy this often. I didn't enjoy Ang Ku Kueh much then but growing up now I realised Ji Xiang Confectionary really set the bar high for me. I haven't found any other Ang Ku Kueh I liked better than this one.

My favourites are their peanut, sweet bean ($1 each), yam ($1.10) and durian ($2), although the yam sells out quite early and is unavailable when I reach at about 2pm usually. Durian is also a seasonal flavor and not available every day. I would recommend going early if you can to try the other cool flavors they have, and also because they sell out by 4pm sometimes and may close early!
