Good news for all ๐‰๐ข ๐—๐ข๐š๐ง๐  ๐€๐ง๐  ๐Š๐ฎ ๐Š๐ฎ๐ž๐กโ€™s fans, the younger son of the founder had recently open an outlet in the East! Their new outlet is at Bugis Village, facing the bus stop and main road so you wonโ€™t missed it. Do note, they are open daily 10am-5pm, except Mondays and for now, thereโ€™s only 3 classic flavours available, Peanut, Salted Bean & Sweet Bean all priced the same for $1 each. The boss told us that more flavours will be coming soon, stay tuned. We bought a box of 8pcs and it fits nicely, not squashed. Ang Ku Kueh is the same as Everton main outlet, super thin skin, stuffed generously with ingredients. Perfect for tea-time, with a cup of hot tea! Super comforting, and indeed one of the best Ang Ku Kueh out there! โ €

My mom always bought angkueh from fresh market in the morning when I was young. In Singapore it can be easily found in Bengawan Solo. However, since I tried Ji Xiang angku kueh, Iโ€™m amazed by how soft & chewy the skin was made. Although you keep it till night, the skin is not harden. Itโ€™s easily become my go-to angku kueh.

They have many flavours: salted bean, coconut, sweet bean, peanut, corn, yam. My fave goes to a default sweet bean. Although typically I lean towards salty flavour but their salted bean is mix with a bit pepperish taste. Not to my liking.

The bright rainbow colours brings joy and pleasant to the eyes. Priced at $0.90, except yam $1 each. Good things in life doesnโ€™t necessarily be expensive.

Didn't know Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh sells other Kueh items besides the angkukueh! This was bought at their atrium sales instead of at the original outlet. 3 boxes for $10 (the ondeh ondeh had 6 ondeh balls but I finished two of them already before the photo haha) or 1 box for $3.5. I didn't buy their angkukueh because I tried once before and still prefer poh cheu's๐Ÿ˜ I quite like their lapis sagu though! Especially the purple yam flavoured one. But the coconut smell still isn't as strong as Bengawan Solo's! I ate the pengkueh panfried with crispy edges and enjoyed it!

A pop-up stall at Novena square which attracts many people to queue up got me curious to try it. Indeed is very good Ang Ku Kueh. First, I love the chewiness of the Kueh and also the nice peanuts' filling which is just sweet enough. Will recommend to try.

Since we are having our lunch nearby, decided to grab some of this ang ku kueh back home for snack.

You shouldnโ€™t leave Outram Park without buying some of this.

Peanut Ang Ku Kueh ่Šฑ็”Ÿ (S$0.90)
The peanut paste filling was fine and smooth. Donโ€™t have to worry about struck between the teeth

Sweet Bean Ang Ku Kueh ่ฑ†ๆฒ™ (S$0.90)
Momโ€™s favourite

Salted Bean Ang Ku Kueh ๅ’ธ่ฑ†ๆฒ™ (S$0.90)

Corn Ang Ku Kueh ็Ž‰็ฑณ (S$0.90)
Interesting with bits of corn kernels bursting in the mouth as one chewed it.

Coconut Ang Ku Kueh ๆคฐๅญ (S$0.90)
Packed with moist syrup coated desiccated coconut

Yam Ang Ku Kueh ่Š‹ๅคด (S$1)
Kind of like orh ni

Best to come during weekday to buy as weekend may not have all the flavours available.
